Origin: Italian form of French Béline

Meaning: either a diminutive of Isabelle (“my God is oath” or “my God is abundance”) or comes from the French Belle, meaning beautiful. Could also be a form of Belinda, which means “beautiful snake” or “beautiful serpent”
