Mirabeau

Origin: French, Latin

Meaning: comes from the latin mirabilis meaning “wonderful”, so it’s meaning would be “wonderful, handsome” or “wonderful, beautiful”; could also be the combination of the names Mira and Beau, both meaning respectively “admirable”; sea, ocean; peace, world and handsome, or beautiful.

This name seems to be used as both a surname and a title in France, as well as a first name of French men, which would make sense for its meaning “wonderful handsome”. Mirabelle would then be the feminine form of the name.
